I grew up in a small town in Kansas and was awarded a scholarlship to the Kansas City Art Institute by Hallmark Cards. I attended for several years and then went on another career. I have loved pottery and when I couldn't make it, I bought it. Six years ago, I started back where I left off and began making the pieces that come from my heart. I have studied at Anderson Art Ranch in Aspen, CO for the past 4 years with some of the world-famous artists of our time.
I moved to Florida last year and have been showing at the Quayside Gallerey in Pensacola and at some regional shows. I have placed in the fine arts division at all the shows.
My work has taken many turns in the past six years. I draw on my life's experiences to create porcelain and stoneware "one of a kind" pieces that reflect my "joy of living", objects in nature that speak to me and in natures colors that make my pieces come alive. Enjoy these first few offerings!
