From the Creative Genius (Demented Mind?) of Cari Mauldin
Hi; I'm Cari Mauldin. I've been a crafter for over 30 years, exhibiting all over California, then FL, GA, VA, and PA. I've done Renaissance Festivals, Mall Shows, Street Shows, etc. For the last 12 years, I've made funny, silly 2 legged stools. I collect everything for my stools. If it moves I feed it, if it sits still, it gets integrated into a craft item. I love shoes. About 12 years ago, my husband noticed a huge (yes, HUGE!) collection of my shoes, and asked what was I going to do with ALL THOSE SHOES? I thought maybe I'd wear 10 or so pairs of shoes a day. HA HA, so I invented Silly Stools. I included shoes, slippers, boots, skates, flippers, cleets, tennis shoes, golf shoes, even a cast or two. I'm worried when I'm down to my last 5 year supply of foot gear. If you have your sons old soccer shoes & shirt or your daughters outgrown ballet or tap shoes, I'd be happy to integrate them into your unique stool.
