This festival combined all the right elements. Promotion was extensive (it had been run in the P'cola News-Journ. for months) and the promoters were available and responsive; crowds (10,000) came early and made purchases! The 150+ crafters were set up around the campus of Jefferson Davis Community College, a picturesque location. The idea of a festival is for everyone to enjoy not just for the crafters to sell and there was a reasonable balance here that left everyone we talked to satisfied. This is definitely one to add to your calendars for next year.
