This was the 2nd Blackwater River Festival. The expansion of the art show to a full family oriented festival was expected to bring a greater attendance, but that has not happened. The fine artists (who at least were on the Riverwalk) did not do well and the crafters section (set up on North Willing, a block away from the main area) did much worse. This event must recognize that it takes more than a nice location to do justice to the quality of artisans they seek to attract.
